Blood Rites is a White / Black Vampire Aristocrats deck: the goal of the deck is to flood the board with vampires ( Oathsworn Vampire ), sacrifice them for value ( Master of Dark Rites ), and get even more value from sacrifice payoffs ( Blood Artist )! The Dr. Who precons are pretty strong out of the box and fun to play. A lot of reasonable value reprints in them as well. Not the 50 dollar per card kind but 2-5 dollars. So playable yet not bonkers staples. If you can go older, the meren of clan nel Toth precon is probably one of the strongest precons ever printed. I freaking love Urza. I've picked up mostly precons and he's been my favorite. Artifacts are so much fun and with Urza he gets HUGE karnstructs. I've also upgraded it but haven't seen how it plays out yet but the potential is limitless. I'm thinking of turning it into a [[breya]] deck but we'll see.The 40k precons have no "main set" to draw from, the only cards are the 4 commander decks, and all of them are pretty tuned for their own deck already. Right, except all the posts above have the precons as "good" compared to other precpns, which they are, as average card quality is much better. Wizards of the Coast released 24 Commander preconstructed decks in 2022, which is a significant departure from the first decade of Commander precons. From 2011 to 2019 we got 4 or 5 decks each year, so the increase has certainly been dramatic.
