The XD45 is right in between the 30 and 36 in terms of width. I was surprised when I put the XD next to the 36 and the 36 was just a touch thinner. Back to the 30 and XD, I personally like the XD a lot. For 9mm, Glock wins over XD, and in 45 XD wins over Glock.It's a 36 slide on a 30SF frame so it's the thinner 36 slide that drops the 4oz in weight, not the frame since the frames are the same.
