Peltier, like Akro produced so many different versions of marbles, hard telling when and why they done it. Jan 1, 2014 · The most common are brown, blue or green. There are also aqua, purple, red, and yellow. The company does not appear to have produced clear or orange slags. Peltier slags are readily identifiable by the very fine feathering pattern produced by the white swirls. This is unique to Peltier.

Peltier No. 5 boxes were not gift sets and were the kind of box that kids opened immediately and played with. As for the name, I believe Chuck Garrett may have named this marble, but I am not certain. I believe there are variations to this marble. That some are translucent and possibly some that are opaque that exist.
