Ice is available at camp stores throughout the park. The camp stores in West Glacier/ Apgar and other areas of the park should have take out items. Eddie's in Apgar will probably have takeout or limited dining. Some dining areas in the park are closed this year. The dining options at Rising Sun are for guests only.

Glacier has (in my opinion) more dramatic 4-5,000 foot sheer cliffs and well-defined/scenic peaks; it also has a slightly better variety of hikes, and a much more "park-like" feel because at the lower elevations the diversity of vegetation is much greater.
