Late to the party but great write up! I have the P322, the 502, and both flavors of TX22. The Taurus' and the Sig have been rock solid (granted they all had a few hick-ups) but between the 3 they have probably eaten over 2000 rounds with maybe 10 to 15 FTFs and duds (and no baths) both suppressed and un-suppressed. ...

Keep in mind the 322 is a very different design and gun. There is no need for Sig to use this in any other pistol model. The other models are all FCU styles and can be moved from one grip to another.

I have a TX22 Competition, it was a little picky on ammo at first, only liked CCI Standard Velocity. After breaking it in, it will run anything flawlessly, and feels good in the hand. My son has a P322 and does not like it because of FTF and FTE issues. On a side note a lot of people keep saying TX22 Comp, doesn’t clarify Competition or Compact.

Looks like Sig is releasing a “hi cap” 22lr pistol to compete with the Taurus TX22 possibly. I already have the TX22 so I doubt I’d buy the P322. Also curious how reliable it will be compared to something like the Mosquito. If you do a quick search of the p322 on reddit or YouTube you will quickly see that gun has nothing but problems. I personally just researched the p322 vs the tx22 line up, and I didn't want to risk my luck with the p322 altho that's the one I initially wanted. I ended up buying the TX22 Compact, which was cheaper and probably more reliable.Here's my current pros/cons between the two. TX22 Pros: Comfortable, cost, local availability, 13 rnd magazine (I'm in IL, so mags must be 15 rounds or less) TX22 Cons: Not a huge fan of the stock sights. Sig P322 Pros: Stock sights, comfortable, local availability.. sorta (LGS has the 20rnd model still, but they should be able to get the 10rnd ...R 22/45 - great trigger and very accurate! Ammo sensitive, cleaning it is a PITA! 10 round mag. P322 - trigger and accuracy not as good as the 22/45 but it’s not ammo sensitive and 20 or 25 round mags. I now only have the 22/45 and 322.Pros of the P322: I'm faster with it on steel, holds 20 rounds, no particles spitting back in your face when suppressed, about $100 cheaper, better trigger "wall," longer grip for bigger hands. I went with the sig p322, it's optics ready, has fiber optic irons, the magazines are relatively inexpensive and it has higher capacity than the 502 and the tx22.
