Uber driver not showing up.
Parked on Main Street for 30 minutes watching über car after car roll up and pickup PAXs. I was online in Partner app, not showing in rider app. Decided to call it a night and miraculously got pinged 10 minutes down the road. Super weird and frustrating especially during surging prices. Yea, little frustrating.
Probably would be better to use the Lyft schedule option instead, Drivers actually pick the schedule rides on the app in advance. With Uber, there is no schedule for anybody, so the app will just ping the nearest driver to come pick you up. Since then, the Eats option would not show up in my Driving Preferences, and I get no Eats requests. I've emailed and phoned support several times and each time they give me the standard response which is relog / reinstall / reboot.
