The Super "M" has a stronger transmission [ stronger bull gears and axles], 10 hp more 264 cubic inch. The brakes are a dead give away , there is no debating on the differance.The short answer is - not much. The International Harvester Company used a handful of different brand names for its tractors, like "McCormick," "McCormick-Deering," "International," and "Farmall.". Very similar tractors were sold under these names at the same time - sort of like the relationship between a Lincoln Navigator ...As mentioned an M does have more power, but is bigger. I do things around my farm with my H that it is perfect for, and an M would never beable to do. The 4010 could pull it a lot faster than what the H would go in 4th. When they got to a bad spot they would unhook the H & push out the bad spot then hook the 4010 back on front & head on down the road. Back then the county's highway dept would take a week or better before they would get around cleaning our roads.

It pretty much fills an OEM Farmall H battery box. I don't think there's enough room in there for a "group 2" battery (same H and W as group 1, but 1-1/4" longer). It has a larger cubic inch displacement engine and faster gears in 1 thru 4, 5th gear is the same 15 mph.
