Hi, I am 7 weeks 4 days pregnant.. I went for a private scan this week- there was a heartbeat and we were told everything was fine but to come back in two weeks as I have a history of miscarriage. They printed out the report of the scan and in it it said ‘small irregular gestational sac’.Our ultrasonographic examination at 7 weeks 6 days of gestation showed a large gestational sac of mean diameter 38 mm, three cystic spaces in the chorionic sac (one cyst inside another, and a third tangent to these), and no visible embryo (Figure 1).
