May 20, 2015 · We pitched our idea at them, to build the ultimate late model K motor with these constraints. It had to be streetable, built for pump gas, no E85 or race fuel dependent compression ratios or turbo selections, The engine had to be built to be responsive with decent bottom end and manageable turbo lag.

The bottom end is the same. Search this forum and you will see many people making good power or stock A4's. If you have an Accord you are screwed.

The crank angle sensor on the R40 blocks are located in the block itself. The mount bracket that goes over the timing chain cover has the lower bolt hole placed differently than the older PPA K24a1,2 etc so you cannot use the older mount brack to mount the engine in the car since only 2 bolts with be connected.
