Majestic colonial vs elegance.
The club set ups at the two are different. Elegance has three very distinct club pools, bars, and lounges. Colonial only has one lounge and it's pools are more narrow and run more like a lazy creek perpendicular to the beach. ME has two club pools with beach views and the third has a swim up bar.
The Splash is located behind the Royalton Punta Cana. A shuttle is provided to bring you to the beach area. The Elegance is slightly more elegant but the Colonial has more of a family vibe. I believe the Majestic Colonial would be more upscale than the Iberostar Dominicana. The Iberostar Bavaro would probably be more of an equivalent to the MC - love the IB -going back in two weeks and would certainly be a good choice but have heard good things about the MC as well. The Majestic Mirage is known as the quieter and calmer resort out of the 3 Majestics. It's adult oriented. 2 out of the 7 buildings are dedicated for families and the other 5 are adult only. The entire resort is club. Not many kids around the Mirage compared to the Elegance and especially the Colonial.
