The Camry’s suspension was super loose, like driving a trampoline at times which was super comfortable. The salt corrosion issue has got me worried. I usually drive alone, and am short so even something smaller like Subaru Crosstrek or Corolla Cross Hybrid would work for me. I was willing to shell out extra for a RAV4 hybrid because of its reliability and overall great build quality but this cable corrosion issue has got me worried.

RX350h >> RAV4 I like the RAV4 hybrid. I think it's a great car but the RX is so much more nicer. Especially if you're going to have it for 10 years, might as well have it a nicer 10 years. I would say the upgrade from a gas to a hybrid is about 50% better, and from the hybrid to the prime, about a 15-20% upgrade. At least, that's how it feels to me. The RAV4 hybrid e-CVT is a completely different design, it's a planetary gear set with two motor-generators (ie. no belts, no chains).
