Haven’t heard anything in the rumor mill re: 900 surrounds (though they could drop tomorrow for all I know) but can attest to the quality of the 700s. Bose QuietComfort Earbuds Ultra (and QCE2, kind of, less hope of firmware udpates with the QCE2 though): A great choice, if you want exceptional ANC & stronger sound, and can accept a less finely polished experience. ANC is unbelievably good. Literally, I would not have believed it was possible for earbud ANC to be this good.

The max definitely sounds better than the Bose but the Bose are noticeable lighter. The Max will be my home go to headphones and the Pros will be my on the go earphones. The Bose will remain as my travel headphones. I also have QC35 and yes Airpods Max definitely sounds better and got more bass.You can get the bose jacks to GA adapter easily, going from GA plugs to the bose jacks is a bigger pain. I have a few sets with bose jacks and use the adapter to GA when necessary. Another vote for Lemo and adapters to GA.
