Then push it all the way down and hold until it stops. If it's not defective that should reset it and it will work with the driver side control as well. I believe it's in the owner's manual, but I have a bookmark with the procedure. I'm guessing you can do it on your passenger side, too. The left passenger window is not working. The window power wiring goes from the breaker to the power window relay, which is normally closed whenever the ignition key is at ON, and from there to the switches.

Try a new brand of batteries instead of cheap ones from Amazon - Energizer or Duracell. 2. Pull the driver's window switch up and continue holding it up for a few seconds after it's fully closed. Repeat for the passenger window from the passenger's seat. Done!
After disconnecting the battery, charging it, and hooking it back up, I have some problems with the power windows. The Outback has been starting and running fine though. 1. I cannot control the front passenger window from the driver's controls. The passenger window does go up/down when controlled by the passenger's button.
