Just recently bought a Sony Bravia 4K HDR x900e TV and had it setup to connect to my Comcast Xfinity X1 cable set top box from. I can access most of the cable box functions using the Sony remote like changing channel, accessing settings, stop, play, fast forward, etc.Try replacing them with new ones.
