Dropped it off at the Chevy dealer yesterday and they have notified me that it was a bad #1 Nox Sensor. Problem is they don't have it in stock and are on backorder with no date in stock.Also the same code. After reading forums I drained the def, replenished, replaced NOX sensor 2, did the cycles through Gretio, and cleared it. Code came back, looked at sensor reads and everything seemed normal, except for a couple of malfunctioned tests. Got the code to clear then was good for a few weeks. Bad NOx sensor (s) were one of the classic reasons for the "Poor Quality DEF" message. Especially 2011/12's. Many many many reports here and other forums of the NOx sensors being the cause of that message. It could have happened, but I don't recall anyone posting that the bad sensors were the cause of an ECM failure.

And I've seen one truck with 52 miles on it with 2 bad injectors, multiple issues with regen not working from sucked in air filter to a plugged def injector.
