They're all really strong, and every class is equally viable. Raw DPS at level 69 however, Brick with the right build is the best, followed by Lillith. HOWEVER: DON'T play BL1 like BL2. BL1 is way more fun "Gun wise." All the manufacturers are great, (barring Eridian) all elements are viable, there aren't as many stupid gimmicks. Mind games is a nice skill to have.
