EDC is best when you can get enough rest. The shuttles help with that. You need to arrive early to get on one of the first shuttles (if you're doing regular shuttles and not Premiere). So that'll cut into your normal sleep. But you can get 45-60 minutes on the shuttle to keep you refreshed. Except Day 1.
