My current Thaumaturge is a Human Beastkin (werewolf) who uses his Dire Form and a Gnome Flickmace (reskinned as an axe on a chain) Weapon Implement, a Chalice and the Mirror. Built fully as a support martial. He's level 18 with the Weapon as his Paragon, Adept Mirror and he grabbed the extra Adept for his Mirror.

Player Builds. Been kicking around a few ideas. Mainly a Dex based rat folk thaumaturge with a whip and mirror implement at level 1, weapon implement to master later. Huge reach with a tiny whip with mirror and great AOOs. Or a dapper tiefling with a sword cane.

You don't have heavy armor or enough initial dex to max out light armor. You may not do as much damage as a thaumaturge using a different build, but you do have a bit more HP as a result. However, given you also want to be using Intimidation, you may want to drop your CON or WIS by 2 to boost your CHA up to 18. Just looking for some build advice, I'll be playing Pathfinder 2e for the first time soon, coming from DnD 5e. Still getting used to new rules! Takes star advanced domain. Tldr, by level 20, after spending 7 actions total, he's dishing out 10d6 fire, 9d4 mental, 3d12 electric damage to adjacent enemies each round, save for half. The star domain and psychopomp spells are focus, so can use every fight.A successful Cyclops build needs two things: leadership and lasers. [Ed Note: I know they aren't lasers]. When Pathfinder 2e first was published, the best Cyclops character build used the Sorcerer class, focused around extremely liberal use of Magic Missiles. Thankfully, as of the Guns & Gears rulebook, there is a much better option.Even a class like the Pathfinder 2e Thaumaturge can be a buffer. and it is time to prove it! Enjoy the Video! Take the Tome implement and boost it to Adept at level 7. It's more of an investment than 2 skill feats by far, but the Tome implement is arguably the most powerful one, and it's abilities synergize very well with the concept of doing RKs and EVs. You get a +1 to any RK check while holding the Tome, you get the benefits of Automatic Knowledge ...If I had to pick one class for AV, it would be Thaumaturge. Free Archetype does open up the opportunities a bit. But by level 10 you have your normal reaction, a dedicated shield block reaction, and a dedicated AoO reaction. You have the powerful champion reaction. Not to mention your Divine Ally Shield, which can take a beating. Probably 1 use of Lay of Hands. For a thaumaturge, dipping into rogue is great anyways because surprise attack from the dedication, L4 for quick draw, L6 for sneak attack, and L8 for dread striker gives you great synergy (demoralize the enemy with your +1/+2 bonus from regalia to make them flatfooted, frightened, and deal 1D6 extra damage). The key is that if you have two implements in your hand (say a passive + active, like Tome/Wand), both of those hands can additionally hold a scroll. So you can always be loaded with two spells per combat even though your hands are fun. But a Shield spell cantrip would be a nice as there are no cantrip scrolls. 2.So getting one of those from my background is always a plus. Intimidating Glare is hard to beat. +4 to most of your Demoralize checks for 1 skillfeat is probably the best return you can get. Honorable mention to Battle Medicine. 2d8 for 1 action that also scales with proficiency is really good.Thaumaturge's action economy is pretty tight with Exploit Vulnerability and Intensify Vulnerability and the implement's own actions, so Beastmaster/Cavalier are good for the free Stride you get at 4+ from Mature. If you want a ranged build using Firearms, Gunslinger MC is a solid option if only for the reloads, and there's extra synergy with ...In terms of build (5lvl by far): 10 healing potions a day, easy wound removal, chalice healing for faster between-battles-recovery, Soothe and Heal scrolls for spare money when things go crap.
