Is tradovate a good broker.
Ninjatrader and Tradovate are two complete different systems. Let me explain NInjatrader is a locally runned program. Meaning it runs on your computer, where as tradovate is a web based application so it runs on the web. The one thing that ninjatrader has over tradovate is that it allows you to pretty much connect to any broker of your choice.
Think or swim is garbage for futures. Use a real broker and a real platform especially if you're scalping or intraday trading. You need to be able to see the whole order book. I personally like jigsaw, sierra chart and optimus flow. There's a lot of quality brokers with a wide arrange of platforms like edgeclear, optimus futures, iron beam etc. Depositing money into a custodial brokerage account could give your child a head start.
