Two easy to use websites for comparing car rental providers and the vehicles available are (1) DiscoverCars.com (2) Rentalcars.com. As far as calling to SXM, Verizon charges .50 a minute from US. All incomming calls to SXM from US to a local rental cell phone are free to the receiver. Verizon only works on the Durtch side and runs around 1.29 a min. Soualigia Lounge at SXM airport. This was a great way to spend time before our flight. This lounge was in the US Airways terminal at Princess Julianna airport. For 20.00 each, you get a comfortable setting, free snacks, soft drinks and wine - newspapers, and free wifi. Very quiet and comfortable.

Apart from the potholes, speed bumps, craters and sand on the roads, the roads are quite narrow, winding and hilly. In theory you might be able to get the test done on SBH, then fly to SXM the next day (with EHAS approvals) and to the US the day after (with US approvals,) but the flow needs to be perfect.
