The 10g LAN/WAN is for FiOS multigigabit speeds with the rollout of their NGPON2 ONTs for 2Gb/s and 5gb/s services in NYC They've said that it could also be used for Verizon 5G Home (mobile network) but it's kinda redundant. Whatever 5G Home routers that Verizon has ALREADY has built in wifi.
