Glock is tried and true, you can't go wrong with them. XD is a bit more recent but it seems equally as good. I personally, don't like the XD. Grip safety was uncomfortable, and in my hand the weight was unbalanced. Glock take down can be done in literally 2 seconds, XD is about 10. A lot more aftermarket support readily available with Glock.It has a tactical rail and extendable grip. Over it felt better than the Glock 26, where the grip seems too small. I could buy the magazine plates for the Glock to make them longer. I like the fact Glock magazines are interchangeable. Springfield mags are not.
