I've had a DPP and currently have the 507. The DPP has a larger window, but dot brightness is similar. The 507 is very tough based on the testing I have seen. The circle dot can be nice to have. Battery life is practically forever. Purely for competition I think the DPP is better, but for carry I will take the 507.

I've been researching optics for a few days and was really blown away by how much they cost. I found the Holosun 507k online that's within my price range, but I can't seem to figure out whether or not it will fit my Gen 5 Glock 19 MOS. It seems people say it's only for subcompact pistols.

Normally the RMSc footprint has to be modified for a Holosun 407k/507k to fit, the rear posts have to be removed and the front posts shortened. Because Ruger made the rear posts optional there's a good chance they shortened the front posts too.
