I'm on 12.5 mg metoprolol daily at night before bedtime to control my rapid heart rate due to Pots syndrome. I'm also in midodrine to help my low blood pressure.For the most part it has been doing it's job and I've been fine taking it daily, however the day before yesterday, yesterday and today my blood pressure has been on the lower side all day despite taking my midodrine.Originally, I was taking XL but now in the last 4 months I've been taking the metoprolol. I cut my dosage (25mg to 12.5) two days ago and now my HR has already risen into the 60s and I'm feeling better already. BPs are still normal.
