Fios remote not working with tv.

Newbie. 06-18-2013 11:26 AM. My Fios TV remote has recently stopped responding for certain aspects eg Guide, DVR, menu buttons etc will not work. The remote still powers the tv so I can turn it on and off and control the volume as normal. I have tried reprogramming the remote and changing the batteries and nothing seems to work.Called Verizon. We reset box. Then we reset the Fios remote (press "back" and "last" together till red light, punch in 3 numbers, 983 I think.) Still wasn't working. Accidentally switched input from HDMI to "TV" and lost my TV for a long while. Kept bouncing through all the inputs multiple times, with both Fios remote and TV remote.Newbie. 07-06-2011 05:03 PM.
