It has slightly more felt recoil than the 30 due to lighter slide and thinner grip. I never noticed musch difference with the 36 slide on my 30 (same as 30s).After a side-by-side comparison, the Model 30SF really isn't a lot bigger than the Model 39 or Model 36. It looks perfect inside and out. I took it to an outside private range a couple of weeks ago and it seems to function just as you would expect it to. Problem ??, It leaves a heavy powder burn on all of the ejected brass.
