Occasionally and I think always when hooking up for the first time I need to flip the fold box to plant and lower and raise the planter all the way one time to get cyclinders phased and working. My wing wheels are sometimes slow to raise going into to transport mode though. 1770NT.The problem with using HP when CCS is going has come and gone all spring. My guess is something wrong is Valve Block on the planter that is not letting the CCS circuit return its oil free without restriction back to the tractor. More power to pull, will require a significant amount more hyd capacity, more complicated to maintain BUT its twice as wide. You will be fine either way.
