This is my first Kimber and for the $ it’s a good buy. Fit and finish are good and I actually like the front sight on this GFO model. Due to reading forum after forum of problems.( I own about 12 Kimbers) and right out of the box FTF. lodges a round and refuses to go into battery. Just as comment after comment. At one time I thought Kimber was the top of the food chain, I really did have pride of ownership with them!Remove the extractor. Remove the firing pin if you want to be extra cautious. Seat a fully loaded magazine. Depress the slide stop to allow the slide to move forward at full speed.
