The real difference is that there is no drastic drop into the valley on the MR series like on the originals. Speed wise I haven't seen one be faster than the other. No an easy answer. The Perfex Large HM is approx. 5 oz. The Onnex brass is 7oz and actually feels a bunch heavier. The regular ones are somewhere around 4.1 oz I recall, so in between the Perfex regular and HM.
