Tundra 4lo light flashing.

Got my truck back and the check engine and 4LO were no longer illuminated but the traction control still was. Then all of a sudden this morning the other two were back. Could really use some advice if anyone could help diagnose. Then you can stop put the truck in neutral and then puch the 4LO button. The truck will not go into 4LO without first being in 4HI. Jun 30, 2014 · Yes, I finally got to it and fix it. It was the 4wd actuator switch on the transfer case. Toyota want almost $1000 for that part alone and you'll still have to open the transfer case up to pull the actuator off. Instead I went a bought an used whole transfer case for $600 and put it on. I was in 4-high. It was working fine. When I turned the switch to 4 low while in neutral, the light on the dash just blinked rapidly. It wouldn't switch to 4 low.
